NORTH UNION TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A man is dead and another person is hurt after a house fire in Fayette County early Friday.

The fire broke out shortly after 2 a.m. on Coolspring Jumonville Road in North Union Township.

Coroner Dr. Bob Barker said that John Capan, 70, was found dead inside the home. Fayette County 911 dispatchers confirmed to Channel 11 that another person was taken to the hospital.

Capan’s cause and manner of death are still under investigation.
