NORTH VERSAILLES TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A man died in a crash in North Versailles on Wednesday evening.
Emergency crews were called to Lincoln Highway between Isaac and Jacob streets just after 5:30 p.m., an Allegheny County 911 supervisor confirmed.
When police arrived, they found a man who had been driving a sedan dead at the scene.
A box truck was also involved in the crash. Police said the driver of the box truck stayed at the scene.
Initial investigation shows the sedan was heading eastbound on Lincoln Highway when it crossed the center line and was hit by the truck.
This crash happened at the same spot where three people were hurt a month ago after a motorcycle collided with an SUV.

“It happens all the time, which is horrible. We just had a motorcycle accident in the exact same spot. What was that, maybe a month ago? Now this fatality? It’s terrible,” neighbor Beckie Enos said.
She’d like to see a traffic light added to the intersection.
“How many people have to die in this spot? It’s crazy,” she said.
The victim was later identified as Xander Wehrhan, 18, from Wall.
