BUTLER, Pa. — A man is facing charges after he allegedly burglarized a church in the City of Butler.
Butler City police said St. Paul’s Church on McKean Street was burglarized in the early morning hours of Dec. 30.
The suspect was identified as Joseph Fee III. Detectives saw video of him entering the church and using items in the building to break open the donation box.
Police said Fee took around $200-$300.
Fee is charged with burglary, institutional vandalism, intentional desecration of a venerated object and theft. He is being held in the Butler County Jail.
