Man arrested after police chase in City of Aliquippa

CITY OF ALIQUIPPA, Pa. — A man was arrested after leading police on a chase in the City of Aliquippa Sunday night.

City of Aliquippa Police Department posted on Facebook that Emmanual Gyadu Mantley, 22, was arrested after not stopping for police and driving at a high rate of speed.

Police saw a white BMW driving on Kennedy Boulevard speeding, swerving in and out traffic. Officers tried to stop the car in the area of Kennedy Boulevard and Upland Street for the suspicion of DUI.

The car did not stop and continued speeding.

The utility pole that was hit was heavily damaged and left some residents without power.
