PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Bureau of Police Homicide Squad is investigating a North Side bar shooting that led to the death of a 22-year-old man early Sunday morning.
According to emergency dispatchers, shots were fired about 1:30 a.m. at Mr. Jack's Neighborhood bar in the 3100 block of McClure Avenue.
Police responded to the scene, where they found a small pool of blood but no victim.
Joseph Adu-Marfo later self-reported to Allegheny General Hospital with a gunshot wound to the lower extremities, according to the Medical Examiner's Office. He died at the hospital.
Investigators are working to determine if there is a connection between the shooting of Adu-Marfo and another male who self-reported to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital shortly before 2 a.m. That shooting victim suffered a gunshot wound to the hand, officials said.
