GREENE COUNTY, Pa. — A man was killed after he fell onto a road while riding in the back of a truck’s cargo bed with an unsecured load in Greene County.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, the accident happened on Stringtown Road in Gray Township just before 7 p.m. on Sept. 5.
Police said a Ford 5-150XLT was driving north when part of the unsecured load and the victim fell onto the roadway.
The victim, a 27-year-old man from Graysville, was taken to Washington Health System Greene Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The driver and other passenger in the car weren’t injured in the accident.
