STOWE TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A man was shot and killed in Stowe Township on Monday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to the 400 block of Pleasant Ridge Road at 3:20 p.m.
The victim was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Monday night, the victim was identified as James Nelson Jr., 42, of McKees Rocks.
SWAT and police were on the scene at a home looking for the suspect but said no one was inside.
Initial investigation shows there was an argument that led to the shooting. Police believe the shooting was targeted and there is no threat to the public.
