PITTSBURGH — A massive water main break is causing big traffic problems on a major Pittsburgh street, and crews are still working to repair it.
The break happened around 2:30 p.m. Thursday in front of Pittsburgh Collision in the 6100 block of Butler Street. This isn’t far from the 62nd Street Bridge on the Lawrenceville/Stanton Heights border.

The Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority said crews will be working until further notice.
Addresses from 6062 through 6068 Butler Street have no water service and were notified by robocalls. The PWSA said service is expected to be restored around 12 p.m. Friday.
Butler Street from the 62nd Street Bridge to 57th Street is closed to traffic at this time. The PWSA said that as repairs continue, the closure may change.
