SEWICKLEY, Pa. — Robbie Linn shared several photos of his children, Lyric and Wylde. He told Channel 11, “They were amazing smart kind kids. They lit up every room they were in. They are our entire world.”
Both children died when a fire broke out at their home on Miller Way in Sewickley.

Tuesday night, the Medical Examiner officially confirmed the identities of the children, 9-year-old Lyric Keys and 6-year-old Jack Wylde Lightner.
“It’s a tragedy. It’s a tragedy for a mother to lose her children,” Tom Pastore, a neighbor, told Channel 11.
Pastore said he saw flames coming from the house just before 3 a.m.
“When I first came down to the kitchen, I saw the house was on fire and my first thought were the children, innocent little kids. I was praying for them,” Pastore said
But sadly, the two children who lived there both died.
Firefighters were able to pull them from the home, but they didn’t make it.
The mother of those children did survive — because she jumped from the second floor, down to safety.
She’s in the hospital.
The fire marshal is trying to figure out what caused the fire.
We’ve also learned that the children were students in the Quaker Valley School District. There are counselors on hand for staff and classmates.
