PITTSBURGH — City and religious leaders lit the Menorah in Downtown Pittsburgh for Hanukkah.
Mayor Ed Gainey led the event and said he hoped people could find light in any darkness they might be experiencing.
“We pray for world peace. We pray for togetherness and we pray to the light every time we see any form of ugly hatred,” Gainey said.
The festival of lights will continue until Jan. 2.
