ELLPORT, Pa. — A mother of four was killed when police say a man went on a shooting rampage in Lawrence County over the weekend.
The shooting began near Breakers Pub in Ellport just before 1 a.m. Saturday.
Crystal Wawrzynski, of Ellwood City, was killed. Her husband and three other people were hit by the gunfire.
Nathan Fink, 40, is charged in the shooting.
A close friend of Wawrzynski’s said they are heartbroken she is gone.
“I mean this is devastating. Those kids lost their mom,” said Mary Greene, Wawrzynski’s close friend.
Loved ones of Crystal Wawrzynski of Ellwood City are grieving after she was shot and killed over the weekend.
“This family now doesn’t have a mom, a sister, daughter. She’s gone and it’s just not fair,” said Greene.
State police said Fink drove off in his car after shooting at the bar and shot at several businesses and homes along Portersville Road. A woman said her brother was hit in the leg inside a house while he was sleeping.
Crystal’s daughter set up a GoFundMe page to support their family.
“We want justice. We absolutely want justice for her and for the other people who were shot. We want justice for all of them, especially for Crystal because it was a beautiful person, beautiful soul stolen from us,” said Greene.
