PITTSBURGH — Beautiful fall weather this evening! Grab a jacket before you head out, the temperature will turn chilly and overnight lows will fall to the 40s.
Sunday morning will start very cool, but temperatures jump in a big way by the afternoon, highs will reach the low 80s. A cold front will approach the area Sunday evening and bring scattered storms, severe weather is possible. Storms are expected between 5/6p through 10/11p entering our viewing area from the northwest and pushing southeast through the evening. Storms through downtown look to be possible between 7p-8:30p. Severe storms could produce damaging winds, hail, downpours, and an isolated tornado can’t be ruled out.
Lightning will also be possible in the evening, remember if thunder roars head indoors!
Much cooler air moves in behind this front for the workweek, highs will be in the 60s and overnight lows will fall to the 40s.
