NEW BRIGHTON, Pa. — New Brighton School District in Beaver County released students early Friday due to an electrical problem on its main campus.
According to the school district’s Facebook page, the main campus houses the high school and elementary school.
All of the students were cleared from the buildings and are safe, the district said.
The district said high school students were released at 9:30 a.m., middle school students at 10 a.m. and elementary school students at 10:30 a.m.
The district also said it doesn’t expect the campus to be cleared in time for students to return to the buildings today.
