PITTSBURGH — Crews battled a house fire in the New Homestead section of Pittsburgh on Saturday.
According to Public Safety officials, the two-alarm fire started around 1:10 p.m. in 4500 block of Marina Drive.
It began on the patio and spread throughout the house.
One man suffered a burn to his hand and was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Two other adults who live there weren’t home at the time of the fire.
The cause is under investigation.
The Red Cross is assisting the family with temporary housing.
