ROBINSON TOWNSHIP — Police are investigating after a man was shot at an Allegheny County hotel.
The shooting occurred at the Hyatt Place Pittsburgh Airport hotel on Campbells Run Road in Robinson Township this morning.
Hotel guests woke up to crime tape and police inside and outside.
Brandon Alexander stayed at the Hyatt Place for one night for a business trip.
He said he no idea there was a shooting until he he got off the elevator as he was leaving.
Several police officers from Robinson Township responded. Allegheny County police were asked to assist in the investigation.
A Channel 11 crew at the scene observed an ambulance and police with flashlights in the parking lot.
Later in the morning, we saw the medical examiner arrive at the hotel.
The hotel manager had no comment.
