Operating engineers union wins St. Clair Health vote Some employees of St. Clair Health and St. Clair Hospital have voted to join the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 95.

MOUNT LEBANON, Pa. — Some employees of St. Clair Health and St. Clair Hospital have voted to join the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 95.

The vote was by skilled maintenance workers and biomedical technicians at the hospital, which is located in Mt. Lebanon and has 329 beds and 2,500 employees. It wasn’t clear how many employees would be in the bargaining unit.

IUOE Local 95 said the next task will be for the union and the employees to begin the collective bargaining process with St. Clair Hospital and for a contract.
