Parkway Center Mall scheduled to close permanently

PITTSBURGH — The Parkway Center Mall will soon be closing down for good.

Since Kmart officials announced the closing of their longtime store at the mall, owners of the shopping center said they notified remaining business owner that they will need to leave the property.

A Giant Eagle store located at the mall will remain open.

Mall officials said they plan on redeveloping the property, but those plans have not yet been released.
