“It’s really scary and horrible to think that we are not necessarily safe in this beautiful community park,” said Elizabeth Kreitler.

On Sept. 22, a woman told police that a man approached her from behind, lifted up her dress and touched her inappropriately. Another woman said she saw a man recording video while touching himself on a park bench. Some women who go to this park often said this is surprising.

“I’ve never heard of anything like this happening here. It’s very disturbing,” said Kreitler.

According to new charges just filed, the victim told police she was walking on the Braddock Trail the same day when a man came up behind, touched her inappropriately while filming her. The trail is right next to an elementary school.

“It’s right there. That’s terrifying there are kids always out on the playground right against the trail,” said Nick Wehner.

Police said they found the video of this incident on Rivers’ phone and found evidence of several more victims who were on the Falls Ravine trail. This has some folks on edge who are often at Frick Park.

“That’s definitely concerning. I will definitely keep my eyes peeled walking through the woods here,” said Wehner.

If anyone has information regarding this case or believe they have been victimized by Rivers, call Pittsburgh Police Zone 4 station.
