Penn-Trafford students evacuated after bomb threat

PITTSBURGH — Students have been evacuated from Penn Middle School in the Penn-Trafford School District after a bomb threat Wednesday morning.

According to the district’s website, the threat was found around 11:15 a.m.

Students were evacuated to McCullough Elementary and will be taken to Penn-Trafford High School.

The students will have lunch at the high school. Parents can pick up their children after 12:30 p.m. at the high school if they wish.

Otherwise, students will be taken home from the high school on their regular buses.
