Man killed in shooting on Pittsburgh’s North Side

PITTSBURGH — A man who died after being found shot in the head inside a car in Pittsburgh over the weekend has been identified.

Rasul Abdullah Aquil Jr., 23, was taken to a local hospital but later died, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner.

Pittsburgh police said Aquil was found in the 600 block of Chautauqua Street on the North Side just before 1:15 p.m. Sunday.

There are no suspect descriptions at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
