Man found shot in head in Beaver Falls, coroner says

BEAVER FALLS, Pa. — A man was found shot and killed in Beaver Falls on Monday, sources tell Channel 11.

Beaver County dispatchers said police, detectives and the coroner were called to a building on 11th Street around 2:50 p.m. on Dec. 30.

Sources told Channel 11 that a body was found in the 200 block of 11th Street. Beaver Falls police said the building was under construction.

Beaver County Coroner David Gabauer identified the person as Eric Mason, 48, of New Brighton, and said he was shot in the head.

The coroner’s office ruled Mason’s death a homicide.

There has been no indication of danger to the general public at this time.

Beaver Falls police are investigating.
