PITTSBURGH — A person was taken to the hospital from the scene of a fire in Homewood Sunday night.
An Allegheny County 911 dispatcher said crews were called out to the 7300 block of Idlewild Street around 7:40 p.m.
A Channel 11 photographer saw heavy smoke and flames coming from the roofline of the multi-story building.
The dispatcher tells Channel 11 that one person was taken to the hospital from the scene. The status of the injured person was not immediately available.
