Pickens in, Porter out for Steelers vs. Chiefs Christmas game

PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers’ final injury report for Wednesday’s Christmas Day game versus the Kansas City Chiefs has been revealed.

George Pickens, who has missed the last two games with a hamstring injury, has officially been taken off of the injury list.

“I think it’s self-explanatory,” Coach Mike Tomlin said. “He is a splash playmaker. He’s a one-on-one playmaker. Oftentimes he controls schematics, which creates one-on-ones for others, or a light box regarding the run. But that’s what talented, outside people do. Not only George, but anybody that has talented outside people.”

In addition to getting Pickens back, the Steelers are looking to have safety DeShon Elliott, defensive lineman Larry Ogunjobi and cornerback Donte Jackson back.

Cornerback Joey Porter Jr. and receiver Ben Skowronek have been ruled out. Quarterback Justin Fields is questionable.

The Steelers take on the Chiefs at Acrisure Stadium at 1 p.m.
