Pitt has had a week off to prepare for its next game — on Saturday, Dec. 16 against South Carolina State.

The Panthers have had a much-needed break from game action this week. The players have wrapped up all of their final exams, and now have two more buy games before diving into conference play. South Carolina State comes to town on Saturday as one of the worst teams in Division One basketball over the past two seasons.
