The prom is one of many recreational and educational activities shared by the districts throughout the year.
This year's prom, planned for free by Hello Productions, was made possible by more than 10 vendors who donated their time and services to provide an upgraded and more formal experience for the students.
Students were treated to lunch at the Omni William Penn and entertained by Comedy Magician Lee Terbosic, local caricaturists and DJ Kelli Burns of Kelli Burns Entertainment.
Josh Mariana Photography provided photography and videography services, as well as a photo booth.
Fragile Paradise Florist, LLC donated boutonnieres and corsages for all life skills students.
Prior to the prom, female students visited Allegheny County's Project Prom store and selected dresses, shoes and accessories, while male students were provided suits from staff and students at the districts.
South Hills and North Hills Beauty Academy students visited participating schools Wednesday morning to provide haircuts for the male students and light make up and updos for the female students.
