BUTLER, Pa. — A Pittsburgh man died after he and two other people were attacked Sunday night in Butler, the Butler City Police Department announced Tuesday morning.
The man, 31-year-old Hakeem Moran, was stabbed multiple times and was shot once, investigators said. He was taken to a Pittsburgh hospital, where he died.
It was shortly after 7:30 p.m. Sunday when police were called to College Street for shots fired.
Officers spoke with the two other victims while another officer found Moran lying in a nearby yard.
The two other victims told police they were attacked by three males who they did not know. The assailants got away.
