PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Police are asking for your help finding a man they say hid a camera in a public restroom on The Frick Museum grounds and remotely took pictures of guests.

Neighbors and visitors called the news “upsetting” and “creepy.”

“I am really surprised to hear that,” one woman said. “It’s the craziest thing I’ve ever heard of. I know the people in charge of The Frick must be mortified. They are the greatest people. They work very hard to make this a wonderful place for the whole community.”

Investigators tell us an employee found the camera inside a single-occupant all-gender restroom. It’s unclear how long it had been there.

The bathroom is attached to the back of the administrative building on the property and sits right next to the carriage museum.

Police say they searched the camera and found pictures and videos of victims ranging in age from small children to senior citizens.

“It frightens me because I have kids here,” Maria Beth Silverio said. She lives across the street.

If you have any information that might help or know who this man is, you should call Pittsburgh Police at 412-422-6520.
