PITTSBURGH — Scott Schubert, chief of Police for Pittsburgh, is coming out of retirement to work with the FBI.
Schubert informed his command staff Sunday that he would be working at the FBI’s Criminal Justice Information Services headquarters in Clarksburg, West Virginia.
Schubert will serve as the section chief for the Global Law Enforcement Support section.
Schubert has been with the department for 29 years and served as Pittsburgh’s chief of police since 2017. He announced his retirement from the position in May.
