Police responded to the shooting, which took place on the 3200 block of Ward Street near Fraizer Street at 9:10 p.m.

Turner  was one of two men shot.

Pittsburgh police spokeswoman Sonya Toler said the other victim, who has not been identified, was taken to a hospital with gunshot wounds to his buttocks. His condition was not released.

“It sounded like firecrackers or some snaps,” said Gregory Sorek, a neighbor. “We didn’t know what it was at first.”

Sorek lives right across the street from where police found the man who died.

Police said they found the second victim, lying in the street.

At this time, there is no description of the shooter or shooters.
