PITTSBURGH — The union representing Pittsburgh police officers has sent the City of Pittsburgh a new contract proposal.

Target 11 reports the offer is an effort to avoid arbitration between the city and officers.
The union said the proposal is similar to the mayor’s last offer, but spells out disciplinary action for officers.
