Severe weather causes delay to start of Pittsburgh Steelers game, estimated kickoff time announced

PITTSBURGH — UPDATE (9:25 p.m.)

The NFL says players are expected to return to the field at 9:25 p.m. and the estimated kickoff time is 9:45 p.m.

ORIGINAL COVERAGE (8:20 p.m.) The Pittsburgh Steelers are set to take on the Dallas Cowboys for Sunday Night Football but severe weather will delay kickoff.

The game was originally expected to start at 8:15 p.m. but fans will have to wait a little longer.

Allegheny County is currently under a SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING.
