PITTSBURGH — A hub to watch women’s sports is opening soon in Pittsburgh.
Title 9, which will open on Centre Avenue in Pittsburgh, is set to be Pittsburgh’s first women’s sports watch bar.
Created by Sherree Goldstein and friends, Title 9 will serve food and drink and exclusively air women’s sports. The bar is currently projected to open in mid-February.
“I am passionate about women’s sports and it’s been so amazing over the past few years to see these incredible athletes finally getting the viewership they deserve. We want to do what we can to grow here in our hometown and also support and connect with our collegiate and professional players in Pittsburgh,” Goldstein said. “The goal is to make this not only a place to watch women’s sports but to convene and grow the community.”
The bar will serve “inventive” cocktails and mocktails, and highlight local brewers. Their food menu focuses on snacks and handhelds, including vegan and vegetarian options,
Title 9 will have pop-up events before the grand opening. Organizers say the best way to keep up with planned events before the bar opens is by following their Instagram, @title9pgh.
