Pizzaiolo Primo inks deal for new restaurant at the Piazza in South Fayette

SOUTH FAYETTE, Pa. — Ron Sofranko has enough experience working with restaurants looking to find locations in the South Hills to know just how rare a good one can be.

So he was sure to hash out a deal with Burns Scalo Real Estate Services to lease a 4,000-square-foot endcap space at the Piazza, the new 50,000-square-foot shopping center the development firm is working to complete in South Fayette.

After buying the Pizzaiolo Primo in Market Square last year and reestablishing a brisk business there in the wake of the pandemic, Sofranko is shooting to open the first suburban location for the restaurant in South Fayette by next June.
