GAITHERSBURG, MD — A plane was suspended 100 feet in the air after it crashed into power lines in Maryland.

State police in Montgomery County said the plane hit a tower plow in Gaithersburg.

Two people were on board the plane but were uninjured.

The area sustained power outages and roads had to be closed.
