Plum youth football honors classmate at Steelers training camp

LATROBE, Pa. — On Thursday, members of the Plum Youth Football team joined the Steelers on the last day of training camp to honor their teammate.

The young athletes were invited to camp just days after their teammate, Keegan Clontz, died in an explosion in Plum Borough. Keegan’s dad, Casey, was also among the six people killed when a house exploded on Rustic Ridge Saturday.

While at camp, the players took a knee at the 40-yard line, because 40 was Keegan’s jersey number. They also hung his jersey at the goalpost.
