PITTSBURGH — James Washington, 19, of Pittsburgh, was arrested Monday morning in connection with a homicide on Nov. 13.
The Fugitive Task Force made the arrest.
Just after 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 13, officers responded to the 100 block of E. Commons in Allegheny Commons East for a ShotSpotter alert.
When they got there, responders found 20-year-old Nasir Stewart shot multiple times. Responders began first aid and CPR.

Stewart was taken to a local hospital where he died from his wounds.
Homicide and Crime Scene Unit detectives processed evidence at the scene.
Washington is charged with criminal homicide and carrying a firearm without a license.
He’s currently housed in the Allegheny County jail.
