It was a weekend of wild weather and powerful storms across Western Pennsylvania as winds toppled trees in Pittsburgh and a car in Mercer County.

A Channel 11 viewer sent in pictures that showed the car on its side at a Sheetz gas station in Hermitage, Mercer County.

The picture also shows part of the awning torn because of high winds.

Heavy rains hit portions of Beaver and Butler counties too with flash flooding and downed trees across the area.

According to the Tribune-Review, firefighters in Zelienople rescued occupants of a vehicle that got stuck in flood waters along West New Castle Street.

Other roads in Summit, Franklin and West Sunbury were also flooded, according to Butler County 911 supervisors.

Flooding closes roads in Mercer County too in places like Jamestown, Greenville and Sugar Grove.

So far there have been no injuries as a result of the powerful storms on Sunday, but a powerful storm Saturday sent two people to the hospital after a tree fell on their car.

Those people were tailgating along Federal Street before the Kenny Chesney concert.
