PITTSBURGH — Clouds will give way to more sunshine on Thursday as another stretch of dry days settles in. Temperatures will be cooler than the past couple of days, but still above average for this time of the year.
The weekend will start dry but end with another round of showers and possibly a better shot at some steady rain by Sunday. Much of our area is struggling with drought conditions and a Drought Watch has been issued for several counties, including Allegheny, Washington, Westmoreland, Beaver and Butler where officials are asking residents to voluntarily reduce water use.
