PITTSBURGH — As gifts are opened on Christmas morning and the wrapping paper piles up, tossing it all into the recycling bin may be tempting, but Pittsburgh Public Works officials say you shouldn’t.
In the City of Pittsburgh, wrapping paper, tissue, glitter and metallic paper are not recyclable, nor are ribbons or bows.
