Donations are currently being accepted for the Danika DeRamo memorial fund.

All of the money raised will go to the family of the victim as they grieve their loss.

“Just like the family, the community, and the remainder of the First Responder Community present that evening, we are grieving as well,” the department said in a Facebook post. “As the first due company, we felt that this was justified, and supplemented the ever growing testament to Danika’s Life.”

The department also placed a memorial in front of the house on Fall Run Road where Danika DeRamo lived.
