PITTSBURGH — People in Allegheny County will be able to renew or apply for a new license to carry a concealed firearm during an event on Saturday.
The event, being held by the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office, will run from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Allegheny County courthouse.
Anyone who goes to the event is asked to bring their PA driver’s license, a completed application and $20 cash.
This is the second event of this type to be held in Allegheny County this year. The sheriff’s office wants the event to be a resource for people who can not typically make it to the courthouse during regular business hours.
