PITTSBURGH — A group of elementary school students in Pittsburgh got a big surprise on Tuesday.
Students at Pittsburgh Grandview got a visit from Steelers long snapper Christian Kuntz — and he didn’t show up empty-handed.
Kuntz brought with him a bunch of toys and bikes to raffle off, and all the kids benefitted. Each kid went home with three or four toys.
“It’s just for the kids, man,” Kuntz said. “I like seeing the kids happy, dancing like they were... and it’s special.”
The toys Kuntz brought with him to school were donated by Pittsburgh Toys for Tykes. And, there were actually some leftover from the event that will now go to other families in the area.
