SOCHI, Russia — A few weeks ago, Channel 11's Katherine Amenta interviewed a nurse from Allegheny General Hospital who was preparing to travel to the Sochi Games to provide medical care for Olympians.
Friday Feb. 7
Andrew Kuznyetsov sent us a picture on Friday of himself proudly displaying a terrible towel in Sochi.
Kuznyetsov also said he’s looking forward to finding the Pittsburgh bar/restaurant.
Tuesday Feb. 11
On Tuesday, Kuznyetsov sent us a picture of himself at the RusSki Gorki Jumping Center.
Thursday Feb. 13
Andrew said he visited the Pittsburgh bar/restaurant on Thursday. He sent us several awesome pictures you have to check out.
He said there's a 12-page menu that's delicious, but no french fry-inspired sandwiches yet.
Kuznyetsov said he brought them Steelers and Penguins decals to decorate the place
"The place is so neat,” he said. “It feels like home!"
