BEAVER COUNTY, Pa. — A tractor-trailer slammed into a tollbooth on I-376 in Beaver County Thursday.
The Chippewa Township Volunteer Fire Department in Beaver Falls said the crash happened at the Chippewa Interchange just before 7 p.m.
Both the tractor-trailer and the tollbooth were damaged, officials said. There was also a large fuel spill and the interstate closed as a result of the crash.
The driver and his service dog were transported to the medical center in Beaver with undisclosed non-life threatening injuries to the driver, officials said.
376 remained closed while Turnpike officials assessed the damage and Pennsylvania State Police from Gibsonia continued their investigation, officials said.
