PITTSBURGH — The Armstrong Tunnel in the City of Pittsburgh will close Monday night into Tuesday morning for utility work, the Department of Public Works announced.
The tunnel will be closed from 8 p.m. Monday until 6 a.m. Tuesday.
There will not be a posted detour. Inbound drivers needing to get around the closure can use Second Avenue, Ross Street, and Forbes Avenue. Outbound drivers can use Forbes Avenue, Chatham Square, Fifth Avenue, Ross Street, and Second Avenue.
