I-79 northbound fully reopens after truck rollover, PennDOT says

ROBINSON, Pa. — Part of I-79 northbound has fully reopened after a truck rollover shut it down for part of Wednesday.

PennDOT said northbound I-79 was down to a single-lane of traffic just south of the Route 51 Coraopolis/McKees Rocks off-ramp (Exit 64) at around 6:30 p.m. for a truck rollover.

As of 9:35 p.m., northbound I-79 between Route 60 Crafton/Moon Run (Exit 60) and Route 51 Coraopolis/McKees Rocks (Exit 64) was shut down, PennDOT said.

Just after 10 p.m., PennDOT said northbound I-79 reopened to a single lane of traffic. Motorists are advised to use caution if traveling through the corridor.

The interstate fully reopened at around 10:45 p.m.
