PITTSBURGH — Southern food chain Tupelo Honey re-opened its doors to a changing Station Square.

In October, the 5,000-square-foot restaurant closed its doors for renovation shortly after receiving pest citations from the Allegheny County Health Department. The restaurant passed its re-inspection, with the inspector noting that the “facility has made great progress in abating conditions that allow for the entry of rodents.”

According to the report, the restaurant laid new brick and drywall as well as material to close gaps in the floor and walls. The restaurant has since reopened its doors to serve fried chicken, waffles and sandwiches, albeit to little fanfare. Aside from being re-listed as open online, no announcements have been made to the Asheville, North Carolina company’s social media accounts.
