Vivien the two-toed sloth celebrates 5th birthday at National Aviary with special treats

PITTSBURGH — There was no hesitation from one sloth Thursday when National Aviary staff presented her with a birthday cake made of all her favorite treats.

A video posted by the aviary on Facebook showed the aviary celebrating Vivien’s fifth birthday. The two-toed sloth eyes her cake, including sweet potato and zucchini, before she takes a big bite out of her new number. The aviary said a card was also given to Vivien that was signed by all her friends, including Valentino, who used his natural ability to grasp objects to add his flair.

Wookie the two-toed sloth also turned 22 and celebrated with a nice nap in the Tropical Rainforest canopy. He also got his own customized cake.
