Water main break creates icy mess in Greenfield

PITTSBURGH — An icy mess was left behind in Greenfield following an early morning water main break.

Our crews saw water bubbling out of a manhole cover along Flemington Street near Windsor.

The water flowed into the basement of at least two homes.

Pittsburgh Water said there are 16 customers impacted by the break.

Crews shut off the water and left the area just before 5:30 a.m.

It’s unknown how long repairs will take.
