LOWER BURRELL, Pa. — The Westmoreland County Drug Task Force made a major drug bust that resulted in two arrests in Lower Burrell on May 13.
Officers executed search warrants on two homes and seized the following:
At a home on Thor Drive, officers said they found:
- Kel-Tec 12-gauge shotgun;
- $38,030 in U.S. currency;
- 185 grams of psilocybin mushrooms (valued at $7,400);
- 194 THC cartridges (valued at $4,850);
- Vacuum sealer;
- Drug paraphernalia;
- Digital scale;
- 1 pound of marijuana (valued at $2,500); and
- 1.7 pounds of THC wax (valued at $38,000)
At the home on Lori Drive, police said they found:
- 300 THC vape cartridges (valued at $7,500);
- Approximately 6 pounds of marijuana (valued at $15,000);
- Money counter; and
- Bottle of liquid Alprazolam (valued at $100)
As a result of these search warrants, two people were arrested.
Dalton Smith was charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, person not to possess a firearm and resisting arrest. He is in the Westmoreland County Jail on $20,000 straight cash bond.
Tesa Myers was charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Myers is in the Westmoreland County Jail on $20,000 bond with 10% acceptable.
